Those of you who know
the details of one or more high school helmets can
be a great help to us as we work toward the goal of having
every high school
represented on this site. Here is what we need.
Photos of the right
side of the helmet and the left side if it
is in any way
different
than the right side. Photos of the front and/or top of the
helmet so we can see the
stripes. Top is needed when the stripes are something like
the NFL Denver,
Baltimore and Carolina stripes.
Here are examples of the
type and quality of the photos we can use.
A scanned copy of
the non-applied decal. It can be a photo of the
non-applied
decal as well. Or you could send us a hard copy of the
decal. This is needed to
be
certain the detail is accurate.
Oral or
written confirmation of the information, including colors will help insure the
helmet's accuracy. Letting us know the name or shade
of the color is important as
there are several variations in the shades of some colors, such
as blue and gold.
Below are examples of
scanned copies of the decals.
What you send should be larger but that is the form in which we'd like
them.
Many people have already made significant contributions to
this web site.
To complete it many more will have to give of their time and
energy.
